Terms and Conditions for Participation in Project Friendship Events & Related Activitirs
By signing up for or participating in a Project Friendship event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Media Use Agreement
By attending the event, you grant Project Friendship the following rights:
• To film, photograph, record, and use your image, voice, or likeness in any media, globally and in perpetuity, without compensation or approval.
• To use any media you voluntarily share (e.g., photographs, videos, or comments) on Project Friendship platforms for promotional purposes.
2. Non-Refundable Donations
Donations made to Project Friendship are non-refundable, even if you are unable to attend the event for any reason.
3. Personal Responsibility
• You assume full responsibility for understanding, respecting, and following all rules and safety measures associated with the event.
• Project Friendship is not responsible for any personal, medical, or travel expenses you may incur, nor for your actions during your participation in the event.
• Any damage, injury, or accident caused to you or your belongings due to your actions or negligence is solely your responsibility.
4. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Project Friendship, its organizing committee, partners, and sponsors from any criminal, civil, administrative, or legal liability resulting from your negligence, willful misconduct, or bad faith.
5. Liability for Damages
If your actions cause damage, injury, or loss to any person, property, or entity, you are solely responsible. Should you damage property associated with the event, you will be required to pay a fee of 12,000 DKK to cover the cost of repairs or replacements.
6. Compliance with Laws
You assume full responsibility for complying with the laws of the Kingdom of Denmark throughout your participation in the event.
7. Safety and Conduct
• Participants are expected to act in a manner that ensures the safety and well-being of all attendees. Behavior that endangers others or creates an unsafe environment will result in immediate removal without refund.
• You are responsible for not engaging in behavior that discredits the event or its organizers.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel or modify any activity that poses a risk to participants or the integrity of the event. Failure to follow the instructions of the organizing committee may result in removal from the event without recourse or compensation.
8. Accessibility and Special Accommodations
Project Friendship strives to make events inclusive and accessible. If you have specific needs or require accommodations, please contact us at least 7 days before the event so arrangements can be made wherever possible.
9. Anti-Harassment Policy
Project Friendship maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, including verbal abuse, discrimination, or inappropriate physical conduct. Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to:
• Unwelcome sexual advances or comments.
• Intimidating, derogatory, or offensive language or behavior.
• Any conduct that creates a hostile or unsafe environment.
Violations will result in immediate removal without refund.
10. Substance Use Policy
The use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited at Project Friendship events. Alcohol consumption is allowed only in designated areas and must comply with Danish law. Violations will result in removal without refund.
11. Insurance Requirement (for Foreign Participants)
If you are a foreign participant, you are required to obtain major medical expense insurance with local and/or international coverage for the duration of your participation in the event. Project Friendship is not liable for injuries, illnesses, damages, or accidents that may occur during this period.
12. Event Cancellation or Postponement
In case of cancellation or postponement due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or any situation deemed unsafe by the organizers), no refunds or compensation will be provided. Project Friendship, its organizers, and affiliates are not liable for costs incurred by participants in such situations.
13. Conduct and Removal Policy
The organizing committee reserves the right to remove participants who violate these terms and conditions after a maximum of two warnings. Immediate removal may occur for serious violations (e.g., harassment, substance abuse). No refunds or legal claims may be made in response to such removal.
14. Data Protection and Privacy
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with GDPR regulations and other applicable privacy laws. Data will be used solely for event organization and related initiatives. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from participation in Project Friendship events will be resolved amicably or, if necessary, through mediation under Danish law.
Acknowledgment. By registering for this event or attending any Project Friendship events,
• You affirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these terms and conditions.
• You confirm that there has been no coercion, misrepresentation, or bad faith in your acceptance of these terms.
